ABS1 DAC (SPV) 1

  • BGZ Poland ABS1 DAC („SPV”) – An SPV company with which the Bank performed a securitisation of a part of the loan portfolio. The Group has no equity contribution in this entity. The company is controlled by Bank BNP Paribas S.A. due to the fulfilment of the control conditions only within the understanding of IFRS 10.

Our activities

Retail and Business Banking

  • we provide services to Retail Customers – including Private Banking Customers (Wealth Management) and Business Customers (Microenterprises);
  • we provide services focusing primarily on the offer of current accounts (ROR), term deposits, loans and consumer finance products. The offer includes all forms of current banking services, savings, investments and loans.

Corporate Banking

  • we provide services to large and medium-sized enterprises, local government units and entities that belong to international capital groups;
  • we provide a full range of financing and transactional banking products to corporate customers using the experience and know-how of the BNP Paribas Group.

SME Banking

  • we provide services to agro and non-agro Customers;
  • we offer transaction products within the account or package already owned, internet and mobile banking, deposits and credit products, trade finance transactions, financial market transactions, factoring services offered in cooperation with BNP Paribas Faktoring Sp. z o.o. and leasing services offered in cooperation with BNP Paribas Leasing Services Sp. z o.o.

Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB)

  • we provide services to the largest Polish enterprises, strategic Customers and medium-sized companies; through the Custody Services Department, the offer is also addressed to insurance companies as well as pension and investment funds;
  • we provide the Customers in Poland with the BNP Paribas Group’s comprehensive solutions in the area of financing the current operations and investment projects (including advisory services related to mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, etc.) and managing financial risk and risk related to price fluctuations on commodity markets.

Other Banking Activity

  • includes activities performed by the ALM Treasury Line and the Corporate Centre. ALM Treasury Line’s task is to ensure an appropriate and stable level of funding to guarantee the security of the Bank’s activities and compliance with the legal standards, as well as to reduce the sensitivity of the Bank’s net interest income to changes in market interest rates.

Bank’s shareholder structure

On 31 December 2022, two of the Bank’s shareholders held at least 5% of the total number of votes at the General Meeting: BNP Paribas and BNP Paribas Fortis SA/NV. In total, they held

87.40%

of the votes.

The remainder of the Bank’s shares, i.e. 12.60%, was in free float.

In September 2022, the rating agency Sustainalytics assigned the Bank an ESG Risk Rating of 10.9, indicating a low risk of a material negative impact of factors related to the management of environmental and social impacts on the business (“Low Risk”). The rating is the best score among the Polish banks reviewed so far.
